Seven killed in Pakistan blast

By IANS,

Islamabad : At least seven people, including four policemen, were killed and eight injured in a blast in a northwestern Pakistani town that the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for, Geo News reported.

The blast, triggered by a remote-control device, occurred in Kohat town of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

The militants had planted the bomb in a pushcart and exploded it by a remote control just as a police mobile vehicle passed by, killing four policemen aboard and three passers-by on the spot, an official said.
