Vietnam invites Iranian companies to participate in development projects

Kuala Lumpur : Vietnamese Minister of Housing Nguyen Hong Kwan has invited Iranian construction and constructing materials companies to participate in Vietnam’s development projects.

In a meeting with Iran’s Ambassador to Vietnam Javad Qavam Shahidi, the Vietnamese minister said Friday: “Vietnam, economically, is an open country with easy regulations and administrative process for foreign sides.”

Hong Kwan added, “Iranian firms can submit their plans to the ministry and after receiving approval, beginning work will be very fast and easy.”
He said, “Vietnam welcomes every kind of projects in the fields of construction of residential, administrative, industrial, commercial, tourism, industrial parks and will present necessary support in this concern.”

The Vietnamese minister also expressed his country’s need for constructing materials production factories and asked the ambassador to inform Iranian companies on the appropriate conditions in this field in Vietnam.

He expressed his country’s readiness for joint venture projects with Iranian companies either in the third countries or in Iran and Vietnam.

Ambassador Shahidi, for his part, said economic and trade interactions between the two countries are not enough and expressed Iran’s wish to develop and deepen ties with Vietnam.
