New Delhi: National President of the Students Islamic Organisation of India (SIO), Ashfaq Ahmed Shareef met the Union Minister of State, Human Resource Development (HRD), Mr. Shashi Tharoor and discussed SIO’s national activities in the field of education, students and campus activism.
During the meet, the minister appreciated and congratulated SIO for its contribution in the field of student activism and educational issues.
He was the chief guest at the commemoration and book release ceremony of Asghar Ali Engineer in India Islamic Cultural Centre, New Delhi. SIO’s National Secretary, Sharique Ansar was also present.
