Taliban Commander arrested at Pakistan-Afghan border

Islamabad : Taliban Commander Mula Mansoor Dadullah was arrested while trying to cross the border at Gaddal Post (Qilla Saifullah) after an exchange of fire with Frontier Corps Balochistan.

According to ISPR, five of his accomplices have also been arrested.

Initial information revealed that Mulla Mansoor Dadullah is injured and has been arrested while trying to enter into Pakistan.

In another incident, three Jawans who had inadvertently crossed the border in Suchet Garh Sector (Sialkot) have returned.

According to details, last night at about 9 pm, a party of three Jawans were headed from one post to another when they lost their way and inadvertently strayed across the border.

They were apprehended by Border Security Forces, however, after a Flag Meeting between local commanders at 2 pm they were released.

In MIRAN SHAH, eight persons were killed and eleven others injured in a suicide attack in an election rally of Awami National Party (ANP) on Monday near ‘Eidak village’ at Miran Shah road, the sources said.

According to the District Correspondent of APP from Miran Shah, the election rally was returning from ‘Tabai’ when a suicide attacker entered into it near Eidak village and blew himself up resulting the casualties and injuries to several people.

The wounded persons were immediately shifted to the Mir Ali Hospital, he said.
