Opting to bat first at Club Aman, Australia were all out for 159 runs in 48.2 overs after a brilliant display of fast bowling by captain Sharmarh Brooks, who claimed five wickets for 35 runs.

West Indies reach the target in 35.4 overs for the loss of five wickets. Kieron Powell was the top scorer with 51 while Andre Creary remained unbeaten with 45.

Having lost the toss and asked to bowl, it looked like it could be a long day in the field for Brooks and co. when Marcus Stoinis and Kumar Sarna put on 63 for the first wicket.

But wickets kept falling and Sarna (32) emerged as the top scorer. Once Jason Dawes, Veerasammy Permaul and Steven Jacobs had made the initial breakthroughs, Brooks came on to clean up the middle-order and tail.

The result never really looked in doubt from that point with Kieron Powell scoring a neat half-century.
