Cairo : The Arab League has warned of a possible wide-scale Israeli military assault against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.
A statement by the League during the anniversary of the 1994 Ibrahimi mosque massacre Thursday said that if wide-scale assaults were to occur, chances for a political solution would not exist anymore.
The league called on the international community to stop Israel from killing more Palestinians, adding that the siege of Gaza must end for the sake of all the innocent people trapped in the Strip.
On Feb 25 1994, a Jewish terrorist massacred 29 Palestinian worshipers and wounded some 150 others in the Ibrahimi mosque in Al-Khalil (Hebron) city.
