Gaza : The Israeli army said Saturday that a man was killed after he tried to sneak into Israel through the Golan Heights on the borders with Syria.
A spokesman told the media that two people tried to smuggle narcotics into Israel but their attempts failed.
The other person was injured in the incident and was transferred to an Israeli hospital for treatment, said the spokesman, adding that the international forces observing peace on the borders were notified of the shooting.
