Patna : Two minors boys of a family were killed here Thursday when a speeding mini bus ran over them after it went out of control, police said.
Though the police are yet to name the victims they have identified their ages – one a six-year-old boy and the other seven years old. “The six-year-old boy died on the spot while the other succumbed to his injuries in a hospital,” police officials said.
Angry people blocked roads to protest the accident at Gulzarbagh. They threw stones on the bus and set it on fire.
According to police, the angry crowd severely beat up a cleaner of the mini bus after they caught hold of him. The driver however managed to escape.
Police opened fire to disperse the mob in which a man was injured. He was admitted to a local hospital.
