It is a known fact in Mysore that Tipu indulged in forced conversion whenever some there was some uprising from a group of non muslims. His thinking was if they were Muslims, they will support him.

When Muslims were given a seperate homeland why did some of them stay back in India. If all had migrated India would have been such a nice place...
