Two dozen militants killed in Afghanistan Xinhua Kabul, Sep 1 (Xinhua) Afghan and the US-led coalition forces have killed nearly two dozen Taliban militants in southern Afghanistan, a coalition statement said Saturday. An Afghan and US patrol was ambushed by militants Friday in Musa Qala district of Helmand province, the statement said. The patrol called for close air support, it added. "In the fight that ensued, almost two dozen insurgents were killed," the statement said, adding that no Afghan and coalition soldiers were injured.
