The movement is aimed to work towards a just humane order which will be free of discriminations between human beings based on race, class, caste, religion, culture, gender, age, nationality, education, political or military/muscle power, or any other such category.

“In such critical circumstances where social activism is losing its credibility, time calls for all those to come together and join hands who believe in the cause of humanity, truthfulness and just social order” reads release issued on the behalf of the movement.

It should be noted here that a movement called Khudai Khidmatgar was originally established by great freedom fighter Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan (1890 – 1988) known as Frontier Gandhi to fight the British government’s cruelty against Indians through non-violent struggle.

“We have started the process to revive the movement in Dec, 2008. Since then we have been meeting people from all sections of the society including youth, social activists, women organizations and religious leaders and after overwhelming response from we have decided to come up formally in the form of an organization” the release added.

A meeting will be held on 6-7 Feb 2011 to finalize the nature and structure of the organization and a coordination committee will also be formed to look after the functioning of the group. The group will be launched formally on 7 Feb. 2011.
