Kozhikode: The Social Democratic Party of India yesterday announced its third list of candidates contesting to the Kerala Assembly. The list consists of candidates to 12 constituencies in Kozhikode, Malappuram, Palakkad, Kottayam, Pathanamthitta and Kollam districts.
The candidates are Rashid Anavathukkal (Quilandy), CT Ashraf (Thiruvambadi), Adv KC Naseer (Kottakkal), Adv AA Raheem (Tirurangadi), PT Abdurahman-Bappu (Kondotty), MK Abdul Latheef (Vallikkunnu), PP Shoukathali (Ernad), Gafoor Madani (Mannarkkad), VI Shajahan (Kanjirappalli), Adv PA Ibrahim Kutty (Ranni), Muhammed Moulavi (Aranmula) and Jaleel Kadakkal (Chadayamangalam).
The SDPI is contesting in 98 constituencies in the Kerala Assembly elections taking place on April 13, 2011. The party has already announced around 70 candidates which includes state general secretary P Abdul Majeed Faizee (Vengara), National Council member Nasarudheen Elamaram (Karunagappalli), National Council member Adv KM Ashraf (Pattambi), state secretary A Noorjahan (Nedumangad), State Council member AA Shafi (Kollam), state general secretary MK Manoj Kumar (Kunnathunadu), state vice-president PK Ayyappan Master (Peravoor), state secretary Thulaseedharan Pallikkal (Kunnathur) and state treasurer Samkutty Jacob (Thiruvalla).
