I know about it, but doubt whether it is enforceable in its true sense. India has some of the best legislations in the world, but their enforcement is nowhere to be seen. Merely because of the fact that corruption and nepotism rule the largest democracy today. If you have money and muscle power, you can control everything, right or wrong... That's the way it is, quite unfortunately :-(

I am pleased to note that between those who have used the RTI Act or are atleast aware of it, there are about 77%, which to my mind is a good percentage. While I believe it is absolutely imperative for the Minority community to be aware of this act and consequently also use it to find out how much the promises have been fulfilled with regard to minority issues, it must also be remembered that misuse of this Act to obtain information and using it with malicious intent for personal gain should be avoided at all costs. I must caution that rmpant misuse of this Act will cause a new legislation to come into effect and a useful tool in the form of this Act will be lost to us.

Im just highlighting on the article I read on Two Circles.net.I appreciated the praising of Mrs Perveen Amanullah,Promoting on the interest of neglected muslims in using R T I.A way we could solve most of the probs by using it.Moreover to be present among the valuable ethnics and far from corruptions--- where all citizens rights could be saved on humanitarian basics.
