Your opinion about 'political iftar parties'

Islam is NOT an individualistic religion.The individual is,no doubt obliged to fulfill the cardinal duties, he is to do in the company of other Muslims."Kalima" or "Shaada" is to be made in the presence of Muslims and others.Five times a day compulsory prayers(Salah) have to be done under an Imam and other Muslims in rows.Payment of "zakah" requires the presence of the receipents."Fasting" the individual does, but for
"sahari" and"Ifthar" a group is needed.Lastly, the "Haj" is more a social affair than individualistic.
Verse 66 : 6 confirms that Islam envisages the entire "Family' to entre the paradise![ "O believers! guard yourselves and guard your kindered against the fire"]Further, verses 84 : 7 to 9 :He that is given his book in the right hand shall have a lenient reckoning and GO BACK REJOICING TO HIS PEOPLE'.( emphasis added).
The idea behind the "social overtone" obviously stands for better interaction among the believers to make the Muslim Society the best among the peoples, as declared by Allah in verse 3: 110 : "khairul ummah!"
Hence, if the "ifthar party is arranged to invite non-Muslims too to enlighten them about the glories of Islam it is quite welcome. If political parties arrange them to woo the voters, Muslims must shun them.

political iftar.. khoobsurat Topi pahan kar khoobsurti se puri muslim biradri ko khoos karne ki koshish ki jati hae. had to eh hae ki ham bhi wese waqat mae jab allah dowaa qabool karta hae political iftar mae parties ke maza lete hae.

political ifthar.what is this? the politicians(including muslims)play with islamic principals.It is not in islam.in our Tamilnadu we(T.M.M.K)Wiped out this culture.we are organise ifthar programmes state wise for MUSLIM STUDENTS(student wing doing this)and muslims only,and now the political partes in tamilnadu they arranged ifthar party for muslims and calling muslim leaders to participate.alahamdulillah...(before the muslima league and other muslim organisations arranged the ifthar parties and invite so called political leaders to drink KANJEE.)
