The top five Tamil albums are:

1. "Sivaji" – Music Director: A.R. Rahman. The song "Sooriyanum" by S.P. Bala, Raihanah, Benny and chorus is rocking Tamil Nadu.

2. "Unnale Unnale" – Music Director: Harris Jayaraj. June Ponna, sung by Krish and Arun, is a huge hit among the young crowd.

3. "Mozhi" – Music Director: Vidyasagar. Vidyasagar's best album ever is creating waves. All the songs are good but the toast is "Kaatrin mozhiye" sung by Sujatha and Balram.

4. "Chennai 600028" – Music Director: Yuvan Shankar Raja. The album for the youth appeals to the target audience – especially the song "Jasa" by a group of singers led by Karthik and Ranjit.

5. "Naan Avan Illai" – Director: Vijay Antony. There is nothing great about the album but the film's success has helped it.
