MK Muneer should be thrown out of the ministry – Solidarity

Kozhikode: Minister for Social Welfare Dr MK Muneer, who revealed several details about terrorism in Kerala to the American officials instead of the authorities concerned in Kerala, should be thrown out of the ministry, said Solidarity state president PI Noushad in a press conference in Kozhikode yesterday.

Mr Noushad said that Dr Muneer had concealed serious matters related to the security of the country. He asked what guarantee was there that such a person would not pass over official secrets to the imperialist powers if he continued in power.

If the minister had given false information about terrorism in Kerala, he has joined the line of the global Muslim hunt of America, and is leading the propagation of imperialist agendas. The Muslim League leadership should explain the fairness behind keeping such a person as the party’s secretary and Minister in the government. The Solidarity will go forward with protest activities if the authorities concerned did not take any action against Mr Muneer, he added.

Solidarity general secretary T Muhammed Velom, secretary Razaq Paleri, and Media secretary CM Shareef were also present at the press conference.
