China stocks open higher Monday

Beijing: Chinese stocks opened higher Monday with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index opening at 2,436.63 points, up 18.46 points, or 0.76 percent.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 8,299.42, up 64.55 points, or 0.78 percent, reported Xinhua.
