Two member committee to inquire into AMU firing at students' union building

Aligarh: Lt Gen Zameer Uddin Shah, the vice chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), has instituted a two-member inquiry committee following the incidence of firing at the students’ union building.
The members of the inquiry committee have been asked to submit their findings by April 20
. These members are Professor Najam Khalique of Community Medicine and Professor Khalid Azam, Department of Business Administration, a release said.
The University has suspended one research scholar of law with immediate effect from the rolls of the University pending inquiry. The university campus and its maintained institutions are also placed out of bound for him, the release said.
