New Delhi : The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Wednesday registered a cheating case and raided the premises of four engineers for allegedly duping the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) of Rs.5.4 million.
“We raided the offices of four MCD engineers of Rohini zone – D.D. Dhandha, A.K. Jain, S.S. Chikkara and Rajesh Sharma – for allegedly duping the agency of Rs.54 lakh in the name of several works relating to development of parks, including fixing of iron grills at different MCD parks without actually executing the works in past two years,” said a CBI official.
The raids were conducted at Mianwali Nagar in Pritampura and MCD colony in Model Town-III, both in northwest Delhi.
