New Delhi : A fire erupted at the first floor of the Indian embassy in Bangkok Wednesday evening but no one was killed or hurt.
“There was no loss of life nor any injuries to any person,” external affairs ministry spokesperson Navtej Sarna said here.
“Today was a public holiday in Bangkok. A clearer idea of the cause of fire and extent of damage to the first floor is expected to be obtained tomorrow,” he said.
Public areas of the embassy are expected to be functional Thursday, he added.
