Kolkata : Coral Soff’wares Ltd, a city-based software company, is eyeing a turnover of Rs.6 billion by 2015 and also planning expansion of its business in the overseas market.
“As a part of our expansion programme, we are expecting a turnover of Rs.6 billion by 2015 with a customer base of 7,000. We are initially trying to expand our business in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) countries. This apart, we are also looking at strengthening our base in Brazil and Indonesia,” Coral Soff’wares Ltd marketing head Vidya Shankar told IANS Thursday.
Coral Soff’wares launched a Rs.1 million ERP software, Coral ERP, here Thursday to tap the small and medium enterprises (SME) segment.
Coral ERP is an industry delivering premium business application software targeted towards SME segment.
The company claimed it’s almost code free that provides flexibility to configurability, scalability and any verticals could be developed in this software.
SME is the fastest growing segment in IT spending with overall size of 3.16 million or 80 percent of their enterprise software outlay in ERP in 2006.
The company, which owns products like ACE and X-cise, will provide services like Coral ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) software to cater to the emerging SME sector, he said.
Shankar said the company’s expansion plans would be divided into two phases, phase-I will have two-years time (between 2008-09) and phase-II would have five-years time (from 2010-15).
In phase-I, the company would target revenue of Rs.5 million and set up five training institutes of Coral ERP, including a semi-business centre in Mumbai.
In the second phase plan, the company would also set up 25 institutes altogether across the entire country
