Saba Anjum shines in India’s win in 4-nation Shastri Cup Hockey

New Delhi: Saba Anjum Karim scored the only goal of the final in the four-nation women’s hockey tournament, on Wednesday. Indian women beat Azerbaijan 1-0 to lift Lal Bahadur Shastri tournament.

Italy and Malaysia were the other two teams in the tournament. Italy beat Malaysia for the third position.

Saba Anjum was named player of the tournament for her superb performance in this tournament. Saba scored 3 out of 5 goals for India in this tournament.

Born in 1985 in Chhatisgarh, Saba Anjum Karim represnts Railways in domestic circuit.
