47,325 Egyptian pilgrims leave so far for Kingdom

Cairo : Up to Saturday (December 7, 2007) 47, 325 Egyptian pilgrims left for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia aboard 231 flights.

As many as 22 flights, to be operated today, will carry 6000 pilgrims. This includes 6 flights for Madinah.

Egyptian Minister of Social Solidarity Ali Al-Museilihi said the general conditions of the pilgrims who are now in Makkah and Madinah are excellent, adding that all the required services are extended to them.

The reports received by the Egyptian Minister of Social Solidarity said Two Egyptian pilgrims who died in Madinah were buried at al-Bakee graveyard in the city.
