He said that some segments of the media do not write the complete name of the Persian Gulf which should be corrected.

Asked about proposal of Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mohamed ElBaradei to Iran to enforce Additional Protocol to Non-Proliferation Treaty, Hosseini said that Iran is honoring NPT and does not want to undertake extra obligation when over 100 member states of IAEA do not observe the Additional Protocol.

“Iran had already accepted the Additional Protocol voluntarily and that a decision has to be made by Majlis to renew such a commitment.” Just several days after Annapolis conference held by the US in Maryland, the Israeli regime drove it to failure, Hosseini said in reference to Israeli plan to build homes in the occupied territories of the holy Qods despite criticism from US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
