Abu Dhabi : The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has published a guide to facilitate the Haj mission and protect the health of the pilgrims, news agency WAM reported Monday.
The manual titled “A Safe and Healthy Pilgrim”, the first of its kind issued by the federal authorities, aims at ensuring the safety of pilgrims, said Abdul Kareem Al Zarouni, head of UAE Medical Haj Mission.
He said the manual gives detailed information about the medical services the pilgrims from the UAE could avail themselves of while performing the Haj rituals.
Zarouni added that the ministry of health has made all necessary arrangements for meeting the medical requirements of the pilgrims during the Haj.
Around 13,000 pilgrims from the UAE will perform the Haj.
