Tehran, (Prensa Latina) Iranian Nuclear Research, Science and Technical Center chief Mohammad Qannadi confirms that his country has reached self-sufficiency in nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.
The achievement of the Iranian nuclear and scientific authorities was possible thanks to “the constant and valiant work of our young researchers, and despite the sabotage from the hegemonic order,”
Qannadi said in a statement quoted by IRNA news agency on Friday.
After emphasizing that Iran does not depend on any country in relation to nuclear physics science, the expert noted that Iran currently has 80 research centers that were created to watch over nuclear technology.
“Enemies have imposed an embargo on us to prevent us from developing nuclear technology, but we have made notable progress in this science in the shade of those embargos, stressed Qannadi.
According to figures quoted by the Iranian official, Tehran currently has 120 nuclear medicine labs in which 10,000 people have received treatment.
