Los Angeles : The Seattle police have arrested two people in connection with the murder of six people, thought to be three generations of a family, in Seattle in the US.
The bodies of six people were found at a building in King County east of Seattle Wednesday, and later the property owner’s daughter and her boyfriend were arrested in connection to the deaths, the police said.
The police identified the victims as a three-year-old boy, a six-year-old girl, a man and woman in their 30s, and a man and woman in their 50s. Their names were not released, but they were “likely three generations” of one family, King County sheriff’s Sergeant John Urquhart said.
The two suspects – Michele Anderson, 29, and her boyfriend, Joseph McEnroe – have been charged with six counts of homicide and are under interrogation, the police said.
Urquhart said the cause of deaths apparently was gunshots, and the victims were likely killed late afternoon or early evening on Christmas Eve.
Autopsies would be performed on the bodies to determine the cause of deaths, he said.
The bodies were found by a victim’s co-worker, who had come to the house to find out why his colleague who worked for the postal service, did not turn up to work that day.
The motive for the killing was not immediately known.
