Bogollagama called on Foreign Minister Sahana Pradhan at the latter's office at Sital Niwas and discussed "various bilateral issues" and the ongoing peace process, Kantipur National daily reported from Kathmandu.
The Sri Lankan foreign minister also met industrialists and entrepreneurs on Monday.
According to Foreign Ministry spokesperson Arjun Bahadur Thapa, Bogollagama will also hold consultations with various political leaders including Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala regarding Nepal-Sri Lanka relations.
The Sri Lankan minister is also keen to learn about Nepal's experiences during the post-conflict transformation.
Bogollagama arrived here on Saturday on a four-day visit at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs Sahana Pradhan.
Sri Lanka has been suffering from internal conflicts for years.
