Judiciary chief: Muslims states ready to expand judicial cooperation

Tehran : Iran's Judiciary Chief Ayatollah Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi said on Monday that holding meeting for judiciary chiefs of Islamic nations can bolster solidarity of Muslims worldwide.

The judiciary chief also noted that Muslim countries are quite ready to expand relations and hold conferences on judicial and human rights affairs.

He assessed as very significant grounds for development of unity among Islamic countries and propagation of anti-arrogance and anti-American Islam, worldwide.

Hashemi Shahroudi referred to his tour of Morocco and Senegal, adding that formation of a parliament comprising scholars of the Islamic nations and holding meeting of judiciary chiefs of Muslim countries were among the proposals made during the trip.

He termed the outcome of his visits to Senegal and Morocco as very positive, saying the judicial system of Morocco is managed through modern and advanced methods including information technology (IT) and mechanized system
