New Delhi: 3 Muslims have qualified for admissions to 123rd Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. The Union Public Service Commission declared the results of Combined Defence Services Examination – II, 2006.
Anver Raza Kazmi is ranked 10th, Mohammad Khurram Mirza is ranked 129th and Mohammad Ali Arzoo Shanawaz is ranked 130th in the list of 274 candidates for Indian Military Academy (IMA). Since IMA takes in 250 candidates all three are guaranteed admissions.
Anver Raza Kazmi also qualified for Indian Naval Academy (ranked 3rd) and Air Force Academy (ranked 10th).
The selected candidates have qualified on the basis of the results of the written examination and interview for admission to the 123rd Course of Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Naval Academy, Goa and 182nd (Pre-Flying) Training Course of Air Force Station, Begumpet, Hyderabad.
The number of vacancies for Indian Military Academy is 250, for Naval Academy is 30 and for Air Force Academy, the vacancies are 32.
The result of Medical examination has not been taken into account in preparing these lists.
