25 top bureaucrats shifted in Haryana

Chandigarh : Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda Wednesday ordered a major bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring 25 officers.

Hooda said the transfers were made keeping in view efficiency, competence and performance of concerned officers.

"My government is in the middle of its (five-year) term. A reshuffle at this stage is ok," he told reporters.

The officers transferred are of secretary and commissioner level.

Director (public relations) Rajiv Sharma has been made divisional commissioner of Gurgaon. K.K. Khandelwal will be the next director (public relations).

Agriculture Director R.K. Khullar has been shifted as commissioner of the Faridabad Municipal Corporation.
