By IANS, New Delhi : A fire broke out in the 18-storey Hindustan Times building in the capital’s central business district here Tuesday.
The incident was reported at 6.05 p.m, fire officials said.
The building is home to two leading newspapers, the Hindustan Times and Dainik Hindustan, and a host of other offices.
“We have sent six fire engines to the spot,” said a fire official adding that people from the building were being evacuated.
The incident was reported from the first floor of the building, which has the editorial offices of the two newspapers.
