New Delhi : Jamaat-e-Islami Hind secretary-general Nusrat Ali severely condemned the Malegaon-like blast in Makka Masjid of Hyderabad, which claimed seven innocent lives. He also demanded from the government to initiate a high-level probe into the blast and to bring the culprits to book.
In a statement released here Friday, Mr. Ali expressed his deep sense of sorrow over the tragedy and extended his sympathy towards the family members of those killed and rendered injured in the blast.
Expressing his utter surprise over the minorities' places of worship being selectively targeted, the JIH leader said, "Innocent persons are being killed and countless people subjected to trials and tribulations but no effective measure is being taken by the government and its administration to put an end to such acts of terrorism."
