Gaza : Israeli forces continued the incursion they launched early on Wednesday in the eastern and southern parts of Rafah city, south of Gaza.
Palestinian radio said Thursday the Israeli forces broke into several houses, particularly in Al-Jaradat district and in areas around Rafah international airport.
The radio quoted eyewitnesses as saying Israeli bulldozers destroyed farming areas close to the borders with Israeli settlements.
Meanwhile, two Palestinians were injured early Thursday in clashes with Israeli soldiers east of Al-Bureij camp in central Gaza.
Eyewitnesses said the injured are members in Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement.
A Palestinian was killed and several others were injured late Wednesday when Israeli special forces that intruded east of Al-Bureij camp opened fire at them.
The Israeli forces face fierce resistance from Palestinian fighters.
Palestinian medical forces said the killed Palestinian is Mahmoud Al-Haj, 25, a member of Al-Quds Brigades.
In the meantime, Israeli warships opened heavy fire at Palestinian fishing boats near Rafah.
Eyewitnesses told KUNA the attacks that caused damage in several Palestinian boats, forced many fishermen to return to shore.
However no fishermen were injured in the attack, they added.
