Faridabad : A 32-year-old woman has accused two policemen of having raped her inside a police post at Ballabhagarh in Faridabad district of Haryana, where she had gone to lodge a complaint.
The incident occurred Tuesday evening when, sources said, the woman went to the Neem police post in Sadar area of Ballabhgarh town after a couple tried to rob her of jewellery and cash as she was standing at a bus stop. The victim lives in a nearby area.
The woman alleged that two policemen asked her to stay in the police post and took turns in raping her.
“We have registered a case of rape on the complaint of the lady and are investigating the matter,” Deputy Superintendent of Police Kuldeep Yadav told IANS.
“No action has been taken against the accused officials yet,” he said Thursday.
Yadav refused to divulge the identities of the accused officials.
