Sydney : A Pakistan-born former Sydney medical student accused of training with banned terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) in 2003 learned Monday that charges against him have been dropped.
Izhar ul-Haque was initially charged with intentionally receiving combat and weapons training.
The decision to drop the charges came after a court sitting in Sydney ruled that interviews with ul-Haque were inadmissible as evidence because of the conduct of Australian police officers.
