B-school distributes exam-kits for CAT aspirants

Chandigarh : In a unique gesture, hundreds of aspirants who came to appear for the Common Admission Test (CAT) here Sunday, were provided with free examination kits by the management of a local business school.

“The management of the Aryans Business School (ABS) distributed free examination kits to over 13,000 CAT aspirants outside various examination centres of the city,” ABS chairman Anshu Kataria said.

The kits included pencils, erasers and toffees.

Nearly 225,000 students from Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir and Chandigarh took the test for the best B-schools in the country, including the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).

The ABS has already announced that it will adopt two meritorious students who clear the CAT but are unable to join one of the top B-schools due to financial constraints.

“ABS will fund their entire cost of studies. The students will be chosen from this region,” Kataria said.
