Tehran : Iran is home to all Asians, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Monday morning stressing that Iranian borders were no obstacle for amity and brotherhood with other countries, Iranian News Ageny (IRNA) reported.
“Asia is the cradle of great civilisations,” stressed the president in his address to the opening ceremony of the second General Assembly of Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) in Tehran.
Parliamentary delegations from 39 Asian states are participating in the two-day gathering to discuss ways for further convergence of the regional states.
