Kabul : A gun battle between Afghan police and Taliban insurgents in Afghanistan’s central Ghazni province has left a dozen people including 11 insurgents dead, a local official said Saturday.
“Taliban and police came in contact in Gilan district of Ghazni province Friday afternoon, 11 rebels and one policeman were killed,” the district chief of Gilan told Xinhua.
Two policemen and four insurgents sustained injuries in the gunfight that lasted for hours, he added.
