Puri : At least seven persons sustained burn injuries and were admitted to a hospital here after an advertisement balloon burst Sunday.
The balloon burst when some people were trying to release it in the open sky near the venue of the five-day Puri Beach festival now underway.
The injured have been admitted to the district government hospital. While one person is serious others have sustained minor burn injuries and are out of danger, a district intelligence official told IANS.
