New Delhi : Rashid Khan took the lead in the third round of the NCR Cup amateur golf tournament at the Delhi Golf Club here Thursday.
Rashid, 16, fired a one-under-par 71, which included five birdies and four bogies and had a total of five-under-par, two shots ahead of his nearest rival.
Kapil Kumar is in the second place as he returned with a card of two-under-par 70. He had birdies on the third, eighth, 13th, 16th and 17th and bogies on the fifth and seventh and the 11th hole.
Overnight leader Aditya Singh faltered on the back nine to turn in a four-over-par-76. He added bogies on 13th, 14th and 16th, and finished the round on a positive note with a birdie on the 18th.
