New Delhi : A road in south Delhi’s Saket locality will be named after late Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Pramod Mahajan on his 59th birth anniversary Tuesday.
The road in front of the PVR complex will be dedicated to the former union minister, who was shot dead allegedly by his brother in his Mumbai apartment on May 3, 2006.
Attending the function will be senior party leader L.K. Advani as well as Mahajan’s wife and daughter.
According to Saket legislator Vijay Jolly, the decision to name the road after Mahajan was taken by Delhi Mayor Arti Mehra after he approached her with a request.
