Islamabad : At least six people were wounded when a small bomb exploded Tuesday outside the office of an NGO in northern Pakistan, said police.
The explosion took place in Battgram district of the North-West Frontier Province (NWFP) which was devastated in Oct 8, 2005 by a major earthquake.
Police sources told KUNA that a remote-controlled bomb exploded at the entrance gate of an NGO, which wounded six people. Sources said two of the injured are said to be in critical condition.
It was not immediately known who was behind the explosion but police said that a case has been registered against “unknown persons”.
