Jeddah : Dr. Yusuf Estes, a well-known Islamic scholar and preacher from Texas, US, will deliver two lectures, entitled “Muslim Youth in Today’s Society” and “The Beauty of Islam,” at the Saudi-German Hospital auditorium here tomorrow and Friday. Organizers said the first lecture is aimed at students over the age of 12, while the second is for the general public.
A former Christian missionary, Estes is now the director of the Islamic Mission Foundation International, a group dedicated to presenting Islam in accordance with the Qur’an and Sunnah.
Since 2005, Estes has been regularly appearing on the UK’s Islam Channel, as well as Peace TV and Huda TV. Special seating arrangements for women have been arranged.
