Islamabad : Iran’s Advisor on Cultural Affairs Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Tashkiri has met Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani in Islamabad, said an official statement.
“Pakistan values its relations with Iran and its new government would take steps for further strengthening relations between the two brotherly countries,” the Prime Minister said.
Gilani said that both the countries are important members of the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) and as such have a special responsibility to confront the challenges being faced by the Muslim Ummah (Nation) from within as well from the outside.
