Islamabad : Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said on Thursday two task forces have been set up in the Foreign Office to give suggestions to improve the foreign policy with the inclusion of economic diplomacy.
Addressing his first press conference after assuming office the Foreign Minister last week, Qureshi said that intelligentsia and academia will be involved to have fresh ideas and frame a viable foreign policy.
“Pakistan is facing grave economic challenges and the present government does not want to go into blame game but wants to apprise the nation of the actual situation,” the Foreign Minister said.
He said the government is committed to bring out Pakistan from this crisis and put the house in order as it feels itself answerable and accountable to the people.
“Pakistan is facing various challenges including restoration of judiciary and the government is on its way to cross all bridges carefully”.
He expressed the confidence that the government would meet all economic, political and judicial challenges according to the aspirations of the people.
