Mumbai : Six people were killed and seven others injured early Sunday when a Tata Sumo in which they were travelling rammed into a tree in Yavatmal district of eastern Maharashtra.
Those dead include four women and a girl, who hailed from different villages of Maharashtra, police said.
According to police, the driver of the Sumo (MH-29-7783) lost control over the vehicle resulting in the mishap around 7 a.m. The injured were admitted to a hospital.
