Kuwait : Participants in the Second World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) Young Leaders Forum, stressed on Monday the importance of guiding youth and developing their skills so that they may best utilize their talents.
Chairman of the Mosaic Program of the Prince Charles Trust Fund, Mahmoud Atallah, said during the forum’s session that many Muslim youth in the UK had been successful in their businesses, adding that the fund’s programs helped many in identifying their points of strength and using them to set up their businesses.
On his part, Deputy Director of Investment Technology Entrepreneurship Center Eng. Anas Meerza spoke of the center’s experience, saying that it focused on investing in the field of technology and transporting it to Kuwait.
The center provides “guidance,” he said, explaining that training courses were help for contractors, many of whom were skilled but lacked in technological knowledge.
As for CEO of Kuwait’s Injaz Project, Rana Kamshad, she said that the project was non-governmental and targeted youth in schools, explaining that it supported youth and guided them on investment and commercial activities.
Meanwhile, Director General of Saudi’s Centennial Fund Hashem Tashkandi said the experience of the fund was a successful one, explaining that it allowed people to explore their areas of strength and weakness so as to best use them in their projects.
