In a seminar titled “For Kuwait, and shall stand united”, he said the parliament and government have gotten used to negative dialogue and passive attitude.

Many important issues have not been adequately addressed, like education, though Kuwait University was established four decades ago and the Ministry of Higher Education so far failed to improve this sector.

Al-Tuwaijri also referred to widows and divorcees who need more care and services, affirming that they should be provided with decent housing, among other things.

The third constituency covers 15 residential areas with 58,674 voters, including 33,056 women.
