Pushkar (Rajasthan): The Union Minister and the national President of the Lokjan Shkti Party Ram Vilas Paswan criticized the UPA government, and demanded that along with SIMI, the government should ban the communal organisations like RSS, VHP and the Bajrang Dal which want to harm the secular credentials of India.
Speaking here at the three day convention of his party activists, he said that instead of the principled policy the government has adopted an arbitrary policy which would be dangerous for the country as it won’t allow the democratic ethos to take root in the country.
The LJP leader further said that the government should constitute a Commission to enlist all the elements which are threat to the country, and instead of the politicians this commission should comprise of the social experts.
Mr. Paswan further said that as far as the action against SIMI is concerned, surprisingly the government has failed to present any concrete proof against the activists of the group.
On the ongoing crisis of the Amarnath land dispute, he said that the communal forces have an interest in highlighting and raising the controversy. It is the bad luck of the national politics that the certain forces are exploiting the sensitive issue just to gain electoral benefits.
